It is funny how with your first child you eagerly anticipate all of their milestones, but with your second they just kind of sneak up on you. Our big boy is doing lots of new tricks, here are a few for documentation:
He loves to find blankets or pillows (or coats or shirts) and lay down with them and say, "ahhhh."
He is always practicing standing up on his own. He has taken a step or two, but still prefers crawling.
He says a few new words such as, "mama," "ha" (hi), "ba" (ball), and "nanana" (banana).
He gives high fives.
He points at everything.
He likes to put toys inside of cups or buckets and then take them out again.
He destroys, empties, breaks and takes apart anything he can get his hands on.
He always bites me and it really hurts!
He loves to push cars around and say "weee!"
He always tries to dress himself by putting clothing items on his head.
He likes to play with his food and squish it in his hands and rub it around, I don't think he really eats very much of it.
He LOVES meat, especially deli meat.
He also loves to drink water. I fill up his Camel Back bottle a few times each day. Thank goodness for that bottle, he can drag it around and not spill.
He is a sucker for suckers. One day a man at the store gave him a dum-dum and ever since he always begs for them when he sees them.
His favorite game is "chase." If Hannah or I follow him around on our hands and knees he laughs hysterically.
He loves his mama the most and buries his face into me if anyone tries to look at or talk to him. He'll warm up to others eventually, but prefers me.
