Of Note...

There is an animal living in our bedroom wall that wakes us up every day at 6 am.

The kids are taking exceptionally long naps every day and therefore not going to bed at night.

I discovered that one of the plants I have been watering is fake.

Jackson decided he is done nursing.  I have been crying about it, not because of the physical pain, but because it symbolizes the end of his baby-hood.

Hannah, the girl who refused to wear a swimsuit at all last summer, picked out an orange Speedo from Costco this week and won't take it off, even for nap time.

Jackson started saying a few short sentances including, "Thank you," and "Don't touch."  Adorable.

We found out that Jackson is allergic to milk and I am struggling to find things to feed him.

  1. I think nursing until they are ready to give it up is the best way to go...so much less guilt for the mommy! (Unless of course they are big enough to crawl onto your lap and help themselves, whenever they feel the need!)

  2. I seriously started laughing when I read about you watering a fake plant, it sounds like something I would do. It is such an adjustment when the nursing phase comes to an end, I had a hard time too- but then I got pregnant again the next month so I was doing it again before I knew it!
