Valentine's Day has become a holliday for the kids in our home. It began with a fancy breakfast and small gifts (they each got a puzzle, which turned out to be a mistake because they dump out the pieces and never put it back together). Hannah had a party at school. That night we ate homemade pizza, had fondue for dessert and watched Hotel Transylvania.
The next weekend, Jack joined Spokane's finest and took the kids to a monster truck show with our friend Matt and his son Parker. The kids loved it at first, but it went a little long and everyone came home with a headache. But Jackson hasn't stopped talking about it since then and plays with his toy monster truck every day, making it smash everything in sight.
I hope Jack wore his plaid flannel and a beard!
