I'm leaving Spokane this weekend. It's hard to believe we have been here a year already. It's gone by quickly and slowly all at once. So much has changed in one uear! When we came here Jackson was a binky sucking, diaper wearing, crib sleeping baby. Now he is none of those things! Hannah has matured immensely. She has overcome the intense anxiety that plagued her at this time last year and faces our new move with surprising calmness. Jane was a fetus when we arrived and now is a chubby, babbling, crawling baby.

Moran Prairie, the area surrounding where we live, is just beautiful. |

As much of a hassle as it was to move for just one year, we absolutely feel it was worth it to come here. While most other residents spend their first year as slaves to the hospital, the residents in this program had a pretty easy schedule most of the time. It's been a nice break for our family, especially knowing that his second year will be brutally difficult and we won't see much of him. Jack absolutely loved his job here. He felt like a valued member of the team and learned a lot.

Jackson, Hannah, Micah and Kye at preschool graduation. We loved Hamblen Park Preschool! |
We made some wonderful friends that I know we will stay in touch with forever. We grew as a family. And we got to experience the Pacific Northwest!

crazy how much can change in a year! good luck with your next move!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the year is over already and that your'e gone! So so sad... where did the time go?!?!? It's really weird to still be here and have things happen that happened last year - like the gay parade this weekend that blocked our way from going downtown last year or national donut day... time flies!!! SOOO worth it though! I can't wait to visit you guys in Florida sometime or see you when you're back in Utah! I'm also glad I can see your happenings on Instagram! WOO WOO
ReplyDeleteThe kids look so cute and so big! Good luck with the move!!!
