This was the first year our little family celebrated Christmas away from our extended family. It was a quiet and cozy day. We never left the house, we just enjoyed each other's company, ate lots of treats, and spent some time on Face Time talking to family and even got to Skype with my brother Jeff who is serving a mission in Mexico. Though I admit to feeling a little homesick, it was a truly merry little Christmas.
