Yum!

In an effort to sneak more vegetables into my family's diet, I have been whipping up a daily green smoothie (a blended combination of fruits and vegetables and water) in our good old Magic Bullet. The Magic Bullet is ok, but doesn't quite get the smoothies as smooth as I'd like them to be. Sometimes the texture is a little hard for me to swallow. I really REALLY want one of these:

But the dreamy Vitamix blender will have to remain a dream for now since it is quite pricey. In the meantime, Hannah LOVES my somewhat chunky green smoothies, and has been drinking around a pint a day!

It makes me happy to know she is getting her daily serving of vegetables. Sometimes she runs away before I can wipe her face and then I find a big green kiss mark on Jackson's head (funny) or slimy green stuff on my furniture (not so funny).
