Hannah. She is beautiful. She is hilarious. She is compassionate. She exacerbates me! As I am told is common with two-year-olds she throws tantrums. Lately she throws them a lot. She loves to pretend and every day she throws an elaborate birthday party for her Littlest Pet Shop pets. She talks and sings non-stop. She asks to decorate cookies every day. She adores her little brother (unless he is preventing Daddy or Aunt Ashlyn from playing with her) and she frequently hugs and kisses and talks to him. She is obsessed with skunks. She even believes that a skunk ghost lives in the bush outside our house. She sleeps with a skunk doll. She pretends to be a skunk and when she needs her stinky diaper changed she says, "Mom, huh? What's that? A skunk?" She hates to take time out from playing to eat. She does naughty things, though much of the time I know she is not trying to be naughty. She reminds me frequently that she does NOT want to use the toilet or go potty outside, she only wants the diaper. She calls diapers "Bakas". She calls Jackson "Mister, mister." She loves to play house outside with her friend Lauren. Lauren is never sure why their play involves a skunk ghost. Sometimes she hits other kids, often for no reason at all. She thinks time out is a fun game. She loves to get wet, to swim, to stomp in puddles, to bathe. She uses broken tree branches to paint the light posts outside with mud. She likes to pretend to be sick so she can be babied. It takes her a long time to do anything. She can't be reasoned with. She only likes to wear shoes that she can put on herself. She HATES socks, boy am I glad winter is over. She likes to tease and say, "I'll bet you can't spank my bum!" She likes to tease other kids too and often makes them cry - I guess that's what happens when you are raised by two teasing parents. She loves to be in charge. She tries to tell me which way to drive the car. She surprises me with her incredible memory. She loves princesses and every night asks me to tell her a princess story. She adores her daddy, but not his princess stories. She makes me cry. She makes me laugh. I'm glad she's mine.

Haha so cute! Caroline was totally like that at that age and has gotten much better...but she still tells me where to drive and when to stop or go.
