The only real nickname I have is "Mel." Obviously it is just a shortened version of my name. My family never called me that, just friends.
My siblings had a hard time saying Melissa when they were young, so ocassionally I still get called by one of the names they used in an attempt to say Melissa. I.e. "misilla" and "eeya"
My hubby calls me "babe" and has for as long as I can remember.
