First Day of Preschool

Hannah was so excited for her first day of preschool; she hardly slept the night before.
She carefully selected each aspect of this outfit on her own a couple of weeks before school even started (she disregards my opinion entirely now).  She picked out the dress by herself from the "big girl" department of Old Navy.  She grew like a weed this summer and can now shop in the girl's department instead of the baby department.  She doesn't like me to do anything to her hair, but decided she would wear a headband to keep the hair out of her eyes while she worked on her "projects" at school.

Preschool was not a let down for her.  She loved it so much she was mad when I came to pick her up.  She can't stop talking about how nice her teachers are and the class pets (a turtle, two rats, a fish, some chickens and a dog!) and the playground and her new friends. She is upset that she doesn't get to go everyday.  Jackson and I would miss her too much if she were gone every day though.

After school she was itching to do more "projects" so she created placemats and crowns for everyone in the family.  We made her favorite foods (grilled cheese, french fries and fruit-kabobs) and had a back-to-school party.


I am excited for my little girl, she is growing up and learning so fast!

    She is so funny. I can't believe she is so tall, it makes me sad that in 3 years she will be taller than me.

    Its funny how fast they start having their own opinion on their wardrobe, Halle has already started dictating to me what she will wear everyday. That is so great that Hannah loves preschool so much, which one is she at? People have been telling me to start getting Halle on a waiting list before I throw her entire education down the toilet :)

    She is so cute! That preschool sounds a little cooler than the one we did last year :) But I totally miss you guys! We are doing one with some mom's here and Bennett's asked me when Hannah's mommy is going to teach!
