Hannah's Birthday Party

Hannah has been talking about/planning her fourth birthday party ever since her third birthday party was over!  All year she talked about the Sleeping Beauty party she was going to have with a castle cake.  But then a couple weeks before her party, my sister introduced her to Strawberry Shortcake on Netflix and she decided she really wanted a Strawberry Shortcake party.

Having a party just a few days before Christmas = a hastily-thrown together party.  But what more could a four-year-old want than five friends, cake, presents and a pinata?  She was thrilled.
Getting everything ready.  I love how the party decor also matches the room decor.
We colored while we waited for all the guests to arrive.   The girls were really into it.  The boys, not so much.
Playing "Duck Duck Goose."  I have never understood the point of this game, but preschoolers sure love it!
Pin the seed on the strawberry (don't judge, I came up with this an hour before the  party started).

"Everybody sing happy birthday to me.  LOUD, so I can hear you."
Decorating cupcakes.
Opening presents.

  2. what a cute party, I love how easy to please this age is, even if you had planned it for months and months she couldn't have loved it more!
