Graduation!

Jack did it!  He is now officially Dr. Jack D Stringham II, MD.  I can't believe it.  When medical school started four years ago I didn't think this day would ever come.  He worked so hard and sacrificed so much to get to this point.  It was definitely not an easy road to take.  Before it started we had no idea how difficult and time consuming it would be.  But we made it!  And we are so proud of Jack.  Correction: I asked Hannah if she was proud of Daddy and she said, "No, I don't want him to graduate.  I don't want him to go work at the hospital and take care of people.  I just want him to stay home and take care of us!"  She has really enjoyed having him around all the time for the past three weeks (I have enjoyed it too!) People keep asking, "Was it worth it?"  Our answer is, "Hopefully!"  He still has 4 or more years of training ahead of him!  But we are excited for our adventures ahead.
Here is our little family four years ago at Jack's white coat ceremony when medical school started.  We had no idea what lay ahead of us!

Here we are today...ever growing!
Graduation day was a beautiful and happy day.  Jack got lots of pictures with some of his med school buddies:

In the morning before graduation.  The kids were really afraid of his robes.

Being "hooded."

Jack and his very proud mom.
With his proud wife too!

I couldn't have survived med school without these girls.  There is no one else who can understand what is like to have your husband never home (and when he is home he is stressed out and has to study into the wee hours) like another wife of a med student.
