The week after conference, it was fast Sunday in our ward. Hannah noticed that others were bearing their testimonies asked me if she could go up and bear her testimony too. I told her she could if she wanted and so she waited for the current speaker to finish and she popped up and walked up to the microphone. She said, "I know this church is true, I love my family...." and then there was a LONG pause. I was about to get up and go rescue her when she said, "I really just wanted to say that President Monson is a prophet," and then she closed her testimony. It was very touching and sweet, especially since we had just watched conference the previous week and she sat still and listened to President Monson's entire talk on Sunday afternoon.
Today at church she was assigned to give a talk in Primary. We wrote a short talk about Joseph Smith finding and translating the plates. She got up and did the whole thing by herself even though she was incredibly nervous.
I'm so proud of my little girl and how much she has been maturing lately.
