I have always desperately wanted to stay home with our kids, and we've done what we can to make that happen (mostly by going into more debt and doing without a lot of things). But ever since Hannah was born, I have searched far and wide for a legitimate part-time "at home" job that would allow me to do most of the work online and while the kids were sleeping, since a little extra income would certainly be helpful. Most of these types of jobs that I have found either are not consistent, don't pay well, are a scam, or require a lot of talking on the phone which is next to impossible since my kids don't allow me to talk uninterrupted, ever.
Well I finally think I've found what I have been looking for for the past 5 years. I was hired by Zirtual last week and start my new job today! I think it will work out with my schedule as a mom and bring in some income that will be a blessing to our family. I appreciated that in one of my interviews (there were 4 total!) they praised me for and were excited that I stay home with my kids. I'm going to start out working just about 4 hours a week and then add a few more hours after we are settled in our new home this summer.
