Jack matched! Can you guess where we are going?

It is the 5th largest urban area in the United States.

Forbes magazine ranked it "America's Cleanest City," for its year-round good air quality, vast green spaces, clean drinking water, clean streets and city-wide recycling programs.

It is the richest city in the United States.

It is nicknamed, "the capital of Latin America," and "the closest city to the US," as the population is 70% hispanic.

It is known as the "cruise capital of the world."

It is also home to the #1 eye hospital and ophthalmology residency program in the country: Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

It probably isn't too hard to guess that we are going to MIAMI!


We are so happy, honored, excited and a little bit nervous. I am so proud of Jack, I feel like his hard work has really paid off as he got into his first choice of residency programs.  


Based on the weather we have had in Utah lately, we are really excited to try at some year-round warm weather for awhile! We will move to Miami in June of 2013 and will be there for three years.  Prior to that Jack has to do an intern year.  We will find out where we are going for that in March and then will move to that location this June.  Moving twice seems a little daunting and stressful.  We both hope to turn these experiences into great adventures though.
