Cranky

Little buddy has been cranky lately, which is not like him.  He hasn't been eating or napping well.  I thought he might be getting sick, but today when I reached in his mouth to fish out a toy I discovered that he is cutting some big molars.  Ah hah!
On a happy note, he is now consistently sleeping through the night and walks about 90% of the time. Our little guy is growing up.

Hannah has been a little cranky too.  For the past couple of months, her daddy has had a more "normal" schedule while he's been on some easier rotations.  His schedule just got bad again and Hannah is having major Daddy withdrawls.
I took this picture the other night to show Jack her reaction when I told her that Daddy wasn't coming home to put her to bed.

But on a happy note the medications her urologist gave her are working very well and the doctor cleared her to take baths again!

And me?  I've been a little cranky too.  Partly because when Jack's alarm goes off at 4 am I can't fall back asleep.  And partly because we've moved a large portion of our stuff but it turns out that we may not be moving after all, so I am stuck in limbo not knowing where we are going to live and missing half my stuff.  And partly because it snowed again.  And partly because I miss Jack too.

But to end on a happy note, third year med school is almost over and Jack's fourth year schedule looks pretty great.  Spring is almost here.  And because we have semi-moved I have gotten rid of a ton of junk in our house and made a few hundred dollars selling some of it.  I love de-junking!

  1. I so know that face of Hannah's and it breaks your heart doesn't it. Jon has gotten in the habit of telling them a story each night before bed and it is ugly when he isn't home come bedtime. Also, about the move. We didn't get to that topic tonight amidst the princesses did we! What happened? I am sure we could find you a place to rent by us:)

  2. Good luck with the moving/finding a place and such, I'm sure it's a headache. I'm already worried about moving for residency and we have like 3 months before that has to happen.

And we have Daddy withdrawals too. But just around the corner Jack will be home more! Yay! Aren't you glad to be almost done with 3rd year!?!?!

  3. I know the feelings. So hard. I don't know what I'm going to do when Jonny is gone for two months this summer. I'll probably be quite cranky. At least it will be warm then!

Hope you're able to figure out the moving situation. Way to go on the dejunking...you're inspiring me!
